Zack’s Quick Rundown: Everyone loves the Chargers in general, and rightfully so, but I think the Raiders should get more respect than they do at this point. Derek Carr is playing out of his mind right now, averaging over 400 yards per game this season and that’s against Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Miami, all solid defenses. This Chargers defense is another tough one to worry about with EDGE Joey Bosa, CB1 Chris Harris and Rookie CB2 Asante Samuel, but they’ll be without LB1 Kenneth Murray tonight. Just take a look at the position faceoff below. Now, some would argue that Herbert is better than Carr and I won’t argue with that, they’re only separated by 1 (87 vs 86), but outside of their Oline and Defensive Backs, the Raiders might be better all around. If you know me, you know I love me some Mike Williams so I’m loving this breakout season so you might be surprised to see LAC below LV on the WR comp, but name the Chargers WR3 or WR4, I dare you. For the Raiders, the emergence of Hunter Renfrow for the Raiders has been great, along with Ruggs, Edwards then Waller which rounds out a really good receiving group for Carr. Again, tough game tonight, but if Jacobs plays tonight, I like the Raiders to win outright tonight in SoFi.
